- Q: "Dear devs, you stated the camo mechanism might change, why is it needed to change it?" A: "Because big vehicles are hard to camouflage" (SS: Hmmm... big tank camo nerf?)
- HE splash passes thru solid objects, because it's impossible to model in real time the explosion "flow" physics around them
- the hidden "module damage" shell characteristic also has +/-25 percent spread
- Churchill GC will cost 49050 XP to unlock from Churchill I
- the shell trajectories in WoT do not respond to those in real life - for example they are symmetrical, while in real life air resistance makes the trajectory asymetrical
- SerB confirms it's possible to "bend" regular shells (eg. to fire behind a hill), doesn't tell how exactly - he only suggests "perform experiements"

  1. Bending of shells behind hills?! da fuq...with any gun and any tank? so i could essentially curve a arty shell around a corner a little bit to hit tanks hiding just besides the behinds of buildings? trololol im trying that... i bet it's impossible though ><!

49k xp for GC...wow ok still quite a bit but more realistic thant 60+, i best get on it lol.

    1. The arc is vertical only, not horizontal... so you cant sling your shots behind a corner :D Some guns (mainly brit howitzers) have quite a lot of shell drop, so you can easily shoot over a small hill and remain in cover the whole time.

The "trick" is that you cant use sniper mode, just hover your cursor over the enemy tank in 3rd person view and if it "sticks" to the tank, the shell will fly over the cover between you.

  2. If they would disable the absolutely retarded auto-compensation for long distance shots, "bending" would be entirely possible.

Aaah, nice to know that my russian high tier tanks a really small compared to the german ones... Oh, no. FFS, russian bias. No that's not true. No bias I mean

    1. Doesn't he mean they want to improve the current situation for bigger tanks? Because camo skill, camo net and camo patterns are nearly useless for them? And hard to hide them at all?

    2. same thoughts... big tanks are mainly germans. But on the other hands, who really relies on camo in Maus and JP E100 ?

    3. I don't see any German nerf incoming, as most huge boxy tanks have really bad camo already.

  4. just try auto-aim to shoot over a little hill. I do that all the time, if i want to hit somebody behind a little hill

  5. "49050 XP to unlock from Churchill I"

Is he kidding? this is way too much for a tier 6 if you compare it to other branches.

    1. T-34>su85 is 23k xp, and su85 is the same tier as the T-34, so for also getting a higher tier 49k is reasonable, keep in mind that you also pay for switching from heavy to td branch

    2. Check any transfering from trees branches. Examples:
      1)T-34 to SU-85 23,500 as opposed to 12,500 from SU-85B.
2)M4A3E8 to Jackson 51,900 as opposed to 21,850 from Wolverine.
And these are transfers to the SAME tier of the other branch.

Jumping from Tier 5 Churchill Mk.I to !Tier 6! Churchill Gun Carrier which is vehicle of another type is actually very cheap.

  6. Nice that all the russian tanks got smaller and smaller over the time in comparison to hmm, let's say zee gerrman ones, (which, if I think about it got bigger and bigger over time here in WoT, now where's my tin foil hat, ah there it is.)...
49050XP for Churchill GC? Nice! 10k to go.

I hope they will rework it so that tanks can no longer become invisible when not spotted, even though this probably won't happen

    1. because it is BS that tanks would dissappear, and to reward good eyesight/attantiveness with the ability to shoot stuff, just like IRL where the commander of a tank constantly has to search for enemies.

    2. Disappearing in woods or behind obstacles is realistic, i think you mean driving in open fields right?
Means: after being spotted, you have to break LOS. Otherwise you will be kept visible up to the max range (500? 700?), no matter what spotting range the enemy tank really has. Correct?

Btw, have you ever fought with disabled HUD? (Hardcore mode) It is *really* a whole new experience when you have to search for enemy tanks with your own eyes ;)

  8. Nice, had 40k free xp on the Church VII after seeing it was the unlock tank on the test server and now I need another 50k on the shitty Church 1. GG WG.

  9. M4 can easily shoot from behind a small hill. Just use arcade mode.
