First 8.5 statistics

Source: wot-news.com

Here, you can see very roughly, how the 8.5 vehicles are doing. What I don't understand is the inclusion of the "T10 premiums" - how the hell did wot-news measure that? Supertester accounts?

Anyway, as you can see, the new vehicles aren't doing bad at all....

    2. I plyed him on test, not quite a good scout I guess but a damn good arty spotter and flanker. Konisch gun really kicks in. This thing has 40 Tonnes and 900 hp engine now picture that! I killed Bat. Chat. all alone just by ramming him at full speed and 2-3 shots from Konisch.
But I got killed pretty fast by his teammates.
Imagine what you can do to arty.

    3. I also tried the recon panther for about 40 games on the test server. TBH, I love it. This tank is bad if you want to be a scout, but it is a great scout killer.
I had soloed two teir 8 LTs (in two games of cause) and don't even need help from my team, just simply ram them with full speed and they are half die already, AND I still have more then 900 hp remain. It also have nice moving-shooting ability, I had even shot another recon panther three times in a roll when we were both moving with full speed. Just try to play it like a medium flanker/sniper and focus more to anti-scout, you will love it.

What is the real problem is it horrible grinding, basically it is a kind of extort for free xp.

  2. This shows again how underpowered the Patton line is... The T9 Patton was a nice tank, untill they nerfed it when the T10 came. Now they are both crap.

    1. The M46 Patton is not included in this sheet.

    2. Well i never played the "old" patton but in my opinion its good for a T9 tank, except sometimes it lacks penetration to penetrate a lfp of a E75.

  3. VK2001DB is doing ok despite being basically a crappier Panzer III.

    1. Played him on test, wouldn't say he's crappier, actually he's pretty simillar to PzIII and i wondered why devs included tank so simillar to already existing one. Perhaps just for the sake of variety .

    2. i wouldn't say its crappy, but its simply not as good as the pz3.

      cons compared with the pz3:

      less hull armor
      heavier hull
same turret, but its heavier for the 2001
less horse power with its diesel engine
(3 shots of 5cm ammo less)
      less hull traverse

      pros:
only 15% for fire, instead of 20.

everything else is exactly the same:
      guns, view- radiorange

but i don't complain, its still a good playable tier 4 medium tank and variety is always great.

  4. M60 is NOT how M48 was. Anyway Excelsior FTW!

  5. Seems to me the delayed release of the Sexton I prem SPG due to WG deeming it to be 'unbalanced' is highly likely also due to the UK SPG line as a whole being unfinished, which is fine, it's just corporate double talk for meaning if we don't release Sexton I until 8.6 then we can delay the UK SPG release until 8.7 thus giving us (WG) a cushion of flexibility..

It be expected perhaps but for a furiously & impatiently waiting player wanting these vehicles in game yesterday it's just a gaming pain..

    1. I VERY MUCH doubt UK arty will come in 8.7 (or this year, for that matter). The reason is that the 8.6 arty system will take months to settle down and balance, adding another branch of arty soon might screw with the results.

  6. Question about new forthcoming premium tanks-
    We can expect at some point;
1 Medium Chinese tank Tier VIII'ish
1 Heavy Chinese tank Tier VIII'ish
1 Medium Russian tank Tier VII

    Not including lower tier premiums.
    Is that about right?
The British higher tier Medium I've heard of is likely to come much later due to less profitable market.
Any other higher tier premiums to be released 2013/14 you know of I've likely missed?

    1. Yes, that is correct. Also, an unspecified German hightier medium was mentioned, this year possibly also a Japanese pre-tree medium (like the Matilda BP) and in 2014 an American premium TD.

    2. I really fucking hate that the British are getting shafted in every conceivable way because the branch isn't 'profitable'. Because that's all that matters in a game, right?
Buggy tanks aren't being addressed and there are no high-tier premiums, and all because WG don't make much money from those particular tanks.

  7. why are EU servers and website down and for how long; is it couse of patch?

    1. The Website/Forum is hosted on the gameserver and this server is down for patching.

    2. no, you got ip perm ban..

    3. Failed to connect to update service.. bla bla, is that 'cause of that gameserver or something? D:

    4. Yes, this happens when the server is down. Updates are scheduled to start after 12:00 CEST

  8. Strange that Russians suck at bat chat, and Leopard 1 scores over 50%. Or is that because only experienced players buy such a tank in the first week?

    ReplyDelete

    1. First months statistics do not say much about the tanks ... we have to compare them with other first month statistics of the other vehicles.

      Delete
    2. How did you figure out they suck at it? The overall W/R for the BattChat 25t is 50.54%. The Leo 1 is 52.95%.

Give it a few months and it will be practically the same.

    3. Russians.... they play offensively and never back down. Indeed a russian playing auto-loader tank usually dies when he runs out of clip because they never retreat to reload and also lots or Russian noobs play Test server, now you know why there's so much gold ammo used there.

      Delete
    4. Yeah sounds like a typical eu rand00m player/ batchat... just that the russian manage to shot their 5 rounds instead of dieing before :P

    5. "First months statistics do not say much about the tanks ..."
Well let's hope that WG once again does not apply their double standards towards german tanks -.-

  9. About T10 premium stats, I think these are server stats (is it Russian server stats for 1 week or test server - I don't know -could you SS clarify this on the title please). So, nothing to do with wot-news except that they got the stats from somewhere.

I assume the last number on rows is the total number of vehicles so there are quite many of those T10 premiums. Must be supertesters + WG developers/testers count.

Russian supertesters most probably can use this tanks on normal server to test them. As with new premium tanks.

      This is true.

  11. Just wait a few weeks. As soon as more less experienced players get their hands on the new tanks, those WRs are going to sink dramatically. (BTW that's why the new low tier vehicles (2001DB) already have a not too shiny WR, since it's easier to get)

So far the same happened every time.

  12. I expected the Leo to overpwerform massively, given that it's apparently a pretty good tank and nobody has reached it without dumping free XP on it yet...
