- the third T-80 crewmember was historically the gunner
- the old tracer system (where you could see tracers even from undiscovered enemies) will not return
- devs have enough ideas for game optimalisation for several years of implementation
- all arties will be completely rebalanced up to the point of implementing new guns
- official WG "noobmeter" is planned for very distant future (SS: if I understood this correctly, it's somewhat unclear, since a part of the original question is missing)
- single-click crew transfer from tank to tank (premium to regular and back for example) is planned
- devs consider KV-1S balanced and alright
- Object 261 (based on IS-7 hull) maximum speed won't be increased
- you can spend only 3 battles in a row at the bottom of your team, the 4th battle the MM forces you to be on the top or in the middle of your team
- in the future, accidentally sold crews will be possible to restore, for now, it's not possible even thru tech support
- the rules for teamkill/teamdamage punishments will be changed (intentionally not said how), devs are working on it right now. Current system does take recidivism (previous bans) in account when selecting proper punishment. The changes in rules (and possibly to whole mechanism) ETA is not yet decided
- the cancelled tech tree transfers (Hummel - Pz III/IV etc.) were not included in the patchnotes because Storm forgot about them
- Storm states that it's useless to angle the Löwe, it has a weak hull for its tier - you gotta take shells with the turret
- it's possible the "average damage per battle" stat will be implemented into the player's official profile
- new "mechanics explanation" movie (SS: I believe in English the series was called Interesting mechanics or something like that?) will come relatively soon
- SerB states that the problem with implementing the T-62A was that some its stats were too good while others sucked, the tank was also considered "too new", but SerB is happy with how it turned out
- the maximum gun elevation angle in game is 45 degress, that's when the arty shell flies the longest distance. For example if the arty stands on the 30 degrees slope, that angle would be 15 degrees
- devs do not watch player-made bug movies on youtube
- for arty vehicles using 2-part shells (shell + charge separately) it was considered to allow them to use reduced charge fill so the shell would fly with more curved trajectories. The idea was however scrapped.
- there was no "1941 pattern T-44", there was only the A-44 project (SS: regarding Soviet medium tanks, players are trying to post suggestions for various alternative Soviet types)
- Object 430 will not be implemented as tier 8 Soviet vehicle (SerB: "Share the marihuana joint") (SS: Object 430 was a late 50's medium tank project, designed to improve/replace the T-54. While it was not a bad vehicle, its performance was not much better than that of T-54 and the project was scrapped. It would make a fine T10 I think).

  3. Looking at the link, I'm curious as to why they used the T-62A instead of the Object 430. Maybe it was too good? Same gun but with better armor and better top speed.

  4. 45 degrees is not necessarily the best angle for long range shooting:

    And vice-versa? How many battles a tank can be top tier (longest run)?prolly the same...

    Seen on yt a guy in s-51 on slope firing 90 degrees shot and killing himself lol

    3. That is actually most probably meant about firing angle. If you drive in arty and aim (in arty mode) at the farthest point your gun range can hit and you are on leveled ground (flat with no angle or bump) your gun will be at 45 degree angle. if you will drive upwards a hill that is in 30 degree angle from normal ground and you will aim in direction upwards the hill, and again at the farthest point you can hit with arty (while aiming in arty mode), your gun will be in 15 degree angle from the vehicle chassis.

  8. I guess that no changes to the Leopard-1 from the 8.5 to the 8.5v1 test server is a good thing. I would hate for them to test nerf the tank.

    2. Well, they said that the tank characteristics that were changed between the test server sessions will appear on the final patch-notes, so you don't know if they did something to the leo.Anyway, I'll give a try tomorrow on test server to see if they 'improved' anything.

    what do you guys think,will VK3002DB be more expensive after 8.5?
    after shell-shocked, i dont expect to see that kind of info in patchnotes,so is it better to buy DB now or later?

    Just goes to show how bad the overall understanding of their game is.
    They just look at the winrate and go "well thats balanced" , maybe playing their game would help them, but i guess they are to busy beeing arrogant/troll to towards their players

    2. KV-1S is blind, has crap hull armor, takes ages to aim and reload and gun is quite inaccurate.
      Play vs those weaknesses, not vs strengths (alpha and penetration) and you will win even with tier 5 meds more often then not.

      Please bro, it's either you engage it at a distance, in which case your RNG will determine where you hit, or you get up close with some other tanks and have one or two of them die for you to plink it to death. There's a reason why this tank is infesting TCs. A gun that can take out almost all the health of tier 5 tanks (all of it if you're a TD), and half the health of its respective tier 6s is just absurd.

      All this, coupled with the mobility of a medium tank even though it's a HEAVY TANK is just incompetence on WGs part. Or rather, not even incompetence because maybe they wanted it to be like that hm? Of course I can't even mention such things because people like you will shout WEHRABOO or GET GUD SKRUB.

    10. Well.. with some tier 5's that have DPM like tier X, I am glad that KV-1S can one-shot them.

      Although, as for the tank itself.. maybe they should just reduce its speed when the top gun is mounted. It is just quite agile even when loaded with full gear.. D:

    Erm...I don't agree - it helps to bounce guns with up to 200 mm PEN (with some luck), however the mantlet can deflect a lot of shells :)

    That explains alot of things. Such as countless JT videos showing bugged mantlet, taking fire after fire when shot in weird areas, etc. That's just on example.
