For the Record on Facebook

Hey - just a quick note: I created a Facebook page, where I will re-post the articles from For the Record - for those who like that sort of thing (after all, commenting on FB is kinda comfortable). You can find the page here:

    1. Why not? :) Some people like it, it's strictly for their convenience.

  4. I see you posted the first q&a as a link to the blog, wouldnt it be more convenient to just copy paste it in FB?
I mean I can go to you blog just as easy as clicking a link by typing ftr in the adress bar en pressing enter, so now its not really any more handy than before.

    1. ok that is pretty clear, but why no?
what is the value in having a fb page then?
you say commenting via fb is easier but now you have to click the link and read it then go back to comment, which isnt ideal right?

    2. I would say cuz this blog needs his visitors and facebook is just a good way to get attention since Wargaming banned it and it's links from every WoT media like the forum.

    3. I doubt the FB page will draw visitors (even though it would be nice of course). No. The reason I won't re-post everything on the blog page is that a lot of people got used to how it is now. Providing an alternative news source would mean a lot of people would think "okay, but what if there's some other info over there he didn't post here" - and would lose time checking both sources. That's kinda pointless, I don't want to waste anyone's time. So, the news on the FB page will be linked to here, so it's clear this is not the case.

Second reason is that it is a LOT easier for Wargaming in case the shit hits the fan to get rid of the FB page than to get rid of the blog, therefore it would be unwise to rely on it.

    1. Definitely not. The FB page is purely complementary.
