- French LT branch will not be reworked (SS: a player complains that the AMX-13/75 to AMX-13/90 crew retraining is stupid since it's basically the same tank)
- AMX-13 won't get two revolver autoloaders it had in real life (because for reloading the vehicle had to stand still and the crew had to get out)
- AMX-13/105 won't appear in WoT
- T57 Heavy has more shells on board than it had in real life - balance
- the AMX 50 1955 model with improved armor is not planned for now, WG doesn't have more pictures of the uparmoured version than the one posted by the player:





- Does WG plan to release a new strategy game? "We don't announce anything for now" (SS: combined with the information that the GPG studio works on a new MMO game for Wargaming, I think we can see where this is going: MMO RTS)
- WG has enough tanks planned for 3 more years at least
- the possibility to turn regular tanks into premium ones won't be implemented in forseeable future - "premium tanks have to have obvious weaknesses compared to the regular ones"
- regarding the implementation of real tanks in favour of prototypes: "If you want real tanks, go join the army"
- the fact that the highest tier company list is spammed by clan recruitment companies is not percieved as a problem by devs
- fire extinguisher mechanism will be changed - the gold ones will activate immediately automatically, the regular ones will also activate automatically, but after some time (the regular one will not be activated manually anymore, not even as an option), another option was to make the regular useable once per battle and the gold one twice, but the devs refused that idea. Firefighting skill will also be reworked, it will probably make the regular extinguisher activate sooner.
- arty recieves less penalty for teamdamage than other vehicles

  1. I'm not happy with this new fire extinguisher mechanism...
    But... if they really plan to add prem consumables for credits, then I'm sure I will buy the premium extinguisher anyway. (the other two; larger repair kit and first aid kit aren't worth the extra credits, imo)

    Are there any info about the fire chance? I mean the premium one will decrease the chance like now?

    1. I just checked the large repair and first aid kit, and they give faster repair and more protection for the crew respectively. (just with their presence on the vehicle)
      Hm... I didn't remember on that...
      Well maybe they worth their price on some tanks then...

      the ONLY way this automatic idea would be good is if it automatically used it 1-2 ticks, basically the time it takes for the crew to say "we're on fire!"

    1. The auto one's will probably activate as fast as you could manually, and now you don't have to worry about hitting the wrong number...

    2. A little tip before that "update" for fire thingy comes out..

      In options/controls, switch button for consumable 6 from button "6" to button "space". That way, if you put your fire extinguisher as a 3rd consumable.. you will be able to put out fire quite fast.

      Only thing you have to do when the fire is up.. is to rape that space button. And that can't be hard.. can it? :)

    2. Snortsch have you ever played high tier arty that you write such bullshit? Seems like you know nothing about playing arty and how does it work.

      Sometimes you have to choose if you help and save your guy in front, even when if it costs some of his HP from splash. Sometimes you aim perfectly on the enemy and the shell goes in other direction. Sometimes there are idiots who just dont care if I mark my target "Attacking". Not to mention that within 2 seconds shell travel positions change rapidly.

      But obviously you never played arty and know shit about it, all you can is whine only. Believe me, arty has much more work trying to avoid team damage than you ever had in any other kind of tank. And fact that artillery gets less TeamDamage penalty is right, especially when it can make much more damage with one shot.

    3. hold your fire if a friendly is near, that way you will very rarely do teamdamage, its that simple, but most arty player will shoot a 1 hp tank that you are facehugging to death and oneshot you through your rear armor.

    4. You can't cure brainiacs like those which angrybanana described.. those are the real problem because they usually chase Master medals or just kills for their stats.

      By my opinion, even greater problem are the players that don't even know how arty works.. they don't know how is it to shoot on a moving target that's on a mile away from me :|

      I'm glad it's like that, that arty receives less penalty.

    5. The 1hp problem on the enemy side seldomly happens with me, i have the bigger problem were my friendly tank has 1 hp and the enemy over 1000, with my hitting shot, i can criple the enemy and save the dude's ass. If i on the other hand hit him with my splash too, my penalty is enourmous.

      And dont call eachother idiots, its quite childish.. You should be able to argument like big kids already.

    7. Everyone hunt for kills, zMe. Spgs did have greater chance to cause team dmg not because they don't care(they have to pay for that,both credits and win rate) but their stupid shell falls outside the aiming circle even it is in its smallest size.

    9. If anything their penalty should be increased, don't know how many times I've been nailed in a scout whilst killing the enemy arty only to have some scum sucking team mate arty nail me trying to get the kill. Might teach them to plan ahead and read movement better.

  6. Driving many german tanks, i have become very quick activating the fire extinguisher. Guess i'll have to retrain my crews then if i don't want to burn like a torch till the lazy crew decides when it's time to put out the flames...

  7. I find it funny that Wargaming is too lazy to actually fix people using scripts to turn manual fire extinguishers into automatic ones, and so are simply taking the easy way out and making them unable to be triggered manually.

    The difference between crews who have camo, repair ,and sixth sense compared to thoses without is already huge, and now they are crowbaring in bad mechanics to justify a bullshit perk?

    They are just making the grindathon mechanics worse whilst still not gving players anything new or more fun. I'm surprised they don't charge players to activate perks. Fuck you WG

      team damage is bad and should be punished severely, otherwise they'll think it's OK and do it everytime

      The number of skills that are essential in each tank is going up as is the price which all "promotes"(understatement) the perks of the premium account.
      They want to force everyone to buy the premium account.

    6. As a premium account owner I still have to pick, my highest skilled crew is on 4 skills and they have gone though at least 1000 battles in various tanks. Most of my other crews are either on the first skill and only 4 of my crews (aforementioned not included) are on their second skill or above.

      Realistically, you're only going to get 2 skills for your crews, three if you're dedicated.

    7. If I understood what SS wrote right fire-fighting is going to be needed ONLY if you use standard extinguisher since premium does its job right away(no crew skill needed). So you do not have to grind that skill at all. What I meant under premium account is not the xp bonus but the ability to buy premium consumable which in turn circumvents the choice altogether. This will make them more money(via premium account and tanks) than it ever did when they sold it directly for real cash.

I play Germans, Soviet and USA tanks....and every nation have some tanks that burns a lot and i myself binded space for my fire extinguisher so i am pretty fast on the trigger and when they introduce that stupid change it won't matter anymore...only that will matter is whether you have that stupid automatic extinguisher or you can fuck yourself and watch your tank burning that was light up by some noob with 43% WR who doesn't even know what consumables are in this game...it's so clearly that they are doing everything to force players to pay for the game and buy premium...and at the same time making the game more easier for newbs

  17. I can already see that "normal" fire extinguisher will trigger in random time like almost everything in WoT.

    And I was hoping, that I will learn Firefighting skill to get one free consumable slot for choco/cafe etc. So I will have to sacrifice both - one consumable slot and 6,7m xp for next skill...
    And WG makes me more and more "happy" for my Lowe.

  18. The dev's mistaken about the AMX-13, it was entirely possible to reload without leaving the tank. It just took twice as long - 30 minutes rather than 15

  21. WG.net can stuff new tanks where the sun never shines. There are more than enough tanks in the game already, and the British ones suck, while the Chinese are just a variation of the Russian ones. Instead they should do more to improve the game mechanisms, physics, UI etc.

  22. If extinguishers will be changed that way, who knows if and how soon repair first aid kits will follow. Regular one just repairs/heals first damaged module/crewmember, the premium one allows you to choose what/who and when to repair/heal.
    Less and less "free to play", more and more "pay to win".

  25. Old fire extinguisher - skill/situational awareness based - if you react quickly, hardly any dmg is done - good players benefit, bad players get punished - everyone likes that.
    New fire extinguisher - a gift from WG to retards and noobs, another attempt to annoy good/experienced players.

    Good job WG, go help those 45% WR idiots even more, like the RNG penetration wasn't enough to guarantee a random game.

  26. I think the reworking of the fire extinguisher is due to hacks where it goes off automatically when your tank is on fire.

    2. Good points. SU-122 44 is single most feared because it has bouncy frontal + fearsome gun to equal SU-152 DPM of doom, low penetration thout.

      SU-100Y ... it is something I've not familiar with that much, but in some matches ago it seemed to be quite mobile instead of immobile like many said... But that is russian tank, how can it not be mobile? So where is the real drawback in close combat if you can't circle it?
