- the 7,92mm EW141 penetration comes from the fact it did not use regular 7,92mm ammo, rather than long Panzerbüchse 38 cartridges (7,92x94 Patrone 318)
- the gold camo price for VK2801 won't be returned - when it reaches tier 6, you actually get free T6 camo for the price of T5
- all WG projects will have at one point a single player account
- according to SerB there is no need to implement an autoloader tank for every game nation tree
- ingame Centurions won't be modified to recieve less crits
- British arty branch will be "historical", when it comes to compatibility of modules with current British tanks/TDs (SS: however, from what I understand, currently the British arty is in "general balancing" stage, eg. the models are already made)
- Japanese tree doesn't have LTs all the way to tier 8
- the way the Soviet arty branch will look after tier 10 arty is introduced is "still secret"
- Q: "Will there be some drastically new modes introduced?" A (SerB): "Sure, tanks will grow gardens, collect harvest and visit each other in their homes" (SS: the real answer is no)
- no ETA on 1x1 maps (Q: Can we expect them this year? A: Well, you can always expect...)
- camo mechanics reworked? "As always, I'll tell when the time is right"
- regarding hightier Soviet and British LTs: "Soviet LTs were just on paper - there is little data on them. The British have nothing comparable to - say - AMX-13/90" and "FV300 LT can make tier 6, Scorpion tier 5 max, Sheridan is unlikely to make tier 8", Soviet LTs will be revealed "later, wait for announcements". The T7 and T8 US vehicles might be the Walker Bulldog and the T92.
- the FV4005 Stage 2 183mm introduction confirmed by SerB in British arty branch (SS: god knows why, the 183mm was not a howitzer)
- British arty branch: it will not be like the French one, it's possible it will fire HESH shells, it will have some autoloaders (which most likely will not be displayed), it will come with or after the introduction of tier 10 arties, they will have from +-35 to +-45 degrees gun arc
- RU server started its 6th cluster in test mode, it's in Moscow (no server in Ukraine planned due to bad infrastructure)
- there will be no XP compensation for XP spent on current T5 LTs
- not ALL the current blind t5 LT branches will end with T8 and not all will be merged back with other branches (some will stay blind)
- Storm says that the White Tiger in the movie was driven by a demon
- there will eventually be new camos introduced, but not in any of the near patches
- there are no special torque differences in game (SS: eg. a diesel tank doesn't overtake a gasoline tank just because diesel engines have higher torque)
- server lags are "being studied" (SS: Storm acknowledges the issue)
- developers can't use "cheat codes" to add gold/anything for themselves

  1. Harvest Moon battle mode?

  2. What is the White Tiger Storm talked about ??

    1. It had to do with promotion of russian movie Thw White Tiger ("Der Weiße Tiger"). It has Tiger P model but shoots E-100s 15cm ammo and fights alone against 15 T-34-85s and has 15k HP. It's driven by WG employe.

    2. Loll funny, who are all the idiots in the t34's? They could of easily taken it out if 7 of the t34's formed a "vortex" manouver circling the tank and shoot its tracks, while the other moved in a figure of 8 routine and sniped from distance while being up on the hill for example, silly, if they could of done 6k damage, they could of done 15k damage between them all...i know its only a promo/joke but still :P.

  3. "RU server started its 6th cluster in test mode, it's in Moscow (no server in Ukraine planned due to bad infrastructure)"

Yeah sure, RU gets 6th Cluster and the Crap EU server still lags @ over 150k Players...

  4. You know, the FV4005 Stage 2 doesn't have to carry a howitzer to be artillery. It just needs more elaborate fire control systems and slightly higher elevation angles than your normal tank. Artillery consists of both cannons and howitzers, where howitzers are your high trajectory guns and cannons are the low trajectory high velocity counterpart

  5. Hey Silent, about that FV4005 Stage 2, did SerB clearly stated "arty" or did he used term "SPG" or "ACS"?

    1. Neither. A player asked about "British artillery branch" and SerB only replied by posting the FV4005 photo, nothing else.

    2. So SerB might be in troll mood a bit? Never mind, thank you very much :)

  6. Hey,

I'm reading you blog since days and it would be absolutely perfect, if you would format your posts. Can you use HTML or BB codes?

It would look more professionel then. Just an advice. :)

    1. Sorry, I am very anti-IT, I am using only the simple tools Blogspot offers.

  7. I really admire your patience with Storm and SerB.Well not so much with Storm as with SerB. That guy is just pathetic. Yea i know he is "trolling" but his trolling is not even funny anymore, it's just dumb and immature. That's not the way how the leading developer of one game should behave and act and treat his potential customers. I would suggest him to rather not say anything than something like: "Sure, tanks will grow gardens, collect harvest and visit each other in their homes" It's just not funny nor trolling and really immature. He should get his sh*t right and start acting like an adult. Anyway i really appreciate your blog and your effort to check all of this for us. Cheers

  8. Hey, can you ask if they'll ever make the driving mechanics more realistic? First thing that comes to mind is implementing torque.

  9. It will be a disappointment, if Sheridan won't make it into the tree. Tank with a decent mobility (70km/h is nothing to be ashamed of), giving a new meaning to "paper armour" catchphrase (aluminium is as close to paper as You can get) and being practically a "have a 152mm of Rock-&-Roll/700 Damage in Ya face" delivery system would be cool, instead of another rolling pancake (T92), that already take up half of French tree (and possibly even will appear in Euro-tree as Kürassier, though this last one I don't really mind).
