The first 9 or so minutes of the video the guy is just talking about the vehicle properties, then he starts playing. Nothing new that wasn't said before, but the gameplay is interesting. Also, the supertester who allowed his account to be used like this was permabanned and his friend, who made the video (and the one who's talking) recieved a temporary ban.

I thought it would be interesting but half the video the guy just sits in garage stating some of the obvious stats (his manner of talk was rather strange, I get the feeling he sometimes just talks and doesn't know himself what), and the battle is rather boring where and he really says nothing in it.

DeleteThe only 'rumors' i've heard of is that the tanks will be given away as Clan Wars reward tanks. What goes into getting them, i'm not sure. I've heard things from capturing large territories, to certain ones containing certain cities. Like i said, those are rumors but...if that does turn out to be the case...i don't quite agree with that logic. Giving unobtainable teir 10 tanks to mega clans who take and hold territory..i think its stupid. BUT, thats just my personal opinion.

ReplyDeleteWhat do you think - how difficult is it for WG to find the game and the culprit, based on types of tanks that appear in the game, map etc? 30 seconds probably and one SQL query...
The game itself does not really show what qualities this tank will have (if any). Guy was defending alone against multiple enemies (so his fate was sealed from the beginning) on a map that does not promote sidescraping (which seems to be the tank forte, as its turret is located in the back).
My guess is that the guy did not give a damn about the game anyway. That or he is very sory now.

1. WG musht have looked at the camo, and then sorted out the players, who did not bought the camo
2. WG analysed the movements and the time of the important moments of the battle (Damages, kills, etc.)
II. The leaker
1. They checked the IP adress of the player
2. Looked at the mods he uses
Plus some other methods
Any server-side info can be tracked. Not even the camo is needed - crew names are plainly visible, this combination of crew names will with 99,9 percent probability belong to one specific account.
