Sexton I screenies

Sorry, forgot to add this tank to the regular 8.5 vehicles.

  1. 1. How much does it cost?
    2. The radio module mentions compatibility with the Excelsior, is it present in the 8.5 patch? Or did they forget to delete something?

    1. 1. 1250 gold in 8.4
      2. That's the new tank for people in ST to fiddle with coming in 8.5.

    3. It'll be a T5 heavy tank.

    4. Thanks a lot. Sure it's a little weird that they're introducing another premium heavy before giving us a premium medium.

  2. Nice, thank you !

Details about the ammo ? I see 1 HE and 2 AP. Someone knows the differenc between the 2 AP ?

BTW, it seems to me that it's the same configuration crew of the TOG. 1 Crew, 2 tanks ?

    2. It doesn't tell the price difference of the shells

  3. The gun looks nearly exactly like the OQF25pdr from the Alecto. I'm wondering if shooting AP is a viable method? Anyone tested it or is it too inaccurate?

  4. What about the Excelsior? Isn't that coming in 8.5 too?

    1. ApplesauceBandit said that it's being supertested in 8.5, like Sexton in 8.4; maybe it's going to be introduced in 8.6

    1. Pretty much correct, 750m is a good estimate of the range. It has good RoF, plenty of ammo (120 if i remember correctly) and it's quite mobile for a tier III artillery. Helping when you go in TD mode, it has a nice gun depression for being an arty.

I was looking forwarding to purchasing this British premium TD, however upon looking at tank's stats it is not appealing at all. Problems? Gun traverse is bad for a turret less tier tank. No option of HEAT ammunition, unlike the Lorr, M37, and SU-26 artillery in the same tier. If one wanted to fire AP rounds in a premium tank, why not pick the French premium at tier 4 instead?

One unanswered question remains though, what are it's soft stats: camo values, terrain resistance, gun impulse value, firing penalties on the move at, et al?
