EU supertesters fired

Source: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/228026-eu-supertest-program-closed/

So, basically all EU supertesters have been fired. Regrettable, but it's the only way they could have dealt with the flood of leaks.

My thoughts? It was basically the only thing WG could have done to prevent leaks. Keep in mind that even though some of the leaks went thru me and my blog, others went thru various Russian sites and blogs, so the issue is by no means closed. Still, too bad.

    1. None at all. It's not I posted leaks lately anyway, well, apart from those patchnotes :)

    1. Blame WG you dumbass. Only they can nuke out the entire EU testers because of a very select few that actually leaked and got banned in the meanwhile.

    2. you dont even know if SS' leak was an EU supertester

    3. You don't get the point "dumbass". The problem wasn't the guys that got caught, it was everybody else, and as far as I can say, they made the right choice. And yeah, before you start mouthing, I am one of the guys that just got kicked out of supertest because of this.
And angrybanana, yeah, we kinda know that.

    4. Your fault that they kicked you guys out. Why did your colleagues start leaking in the first place? Self esteem? I'm sorry you guys are gone but blaming frank for that is total dipshit.

You should have start sucking Russian balls in order to keep the job or blowing the whistle you know.

    5. Yes, indeed, you are right. I should have flown over to each and every one of these 100+ guys and talked to them. Really dude?
I'm not saying this is entirely his fault, because it's not by a long shot, but he had his part.
I'm not even going to comment the last bit. Grow a brain mate. And some common sense.

    6. Why not? A 100+ blow bang to keep the job and keep leaking. ;-)

  4. One step short of closing the supertest altogether which will be the next step if leaks continue at this rate.
We'll have to see if RU players and blogs take this as a warning.

  6. I'm curious will they ban also Russian supertesters when leaks continue even after they banned all from EU

    ReplyDelete
  7. First : Give Europeans the chance to use Superteststuff -> Check
Second : Give a warning because there are leaks -> Check
Third : Bann Europeans, because there are leaks still and tell the Community that there are too much leaks since Europeans are with the Test -> Check
Fourth : Russian community is happy -> Check

  8. And the earlier leaks of wot-news.com was not a problem. Interesting...

    1. These are probably controlled leaks. IMO in most cases they get stuff directly from WG

    2. DSM: But at the same time they had no problems publishing earlier leaks from FTR. No - this works differently. From what I was told, posting leaks is totally fine - as long as it's not an original leak post. You simply have to quote someone else and it's all right. In this case, a "small Russian blog" appeared, posted leaks, "got quoted" by wot-news.... you get the drift.

      - Seems to be so, look at the tank design contest (or what the h*ck) promo pic: Wot-news logo+WG logo

Ok guys, just an interesting question in 1st April mood :)
"Small Russian Blog" posts leak, quotes wot-news.com

wot-news.com posts the same leak, quotes "Small Russian Blog"

      What will happen?
A.) "Small Russian Blog" will be shut down, uploading players will be banned
B.) Wot-news.com will be shut down, uploading players will be banned
C.) Both sites will be shut down, ALL uploading players will be banned
D.) No one will be sanctioned
E.) Non-RU Supertesters will be banned

  16. Do I have to say: Saw it coming from miles away?

Both the leaking and the banning.

    Wargaming's information policy plainly sucks.
Does anyone remember when Overlord was actively involved with WoT, and we got news about stuff that MIGHT come and when it MIGHT come?
Like the "Wargaming's plans for 2012" post on his blog in 2011?
That was enough to still our thirst for knowledge.

Players want to know what's going to happen soon (in this case patch 0.8.5 and 0.8.6), what's going to happen in the near future
(the following patches and what might come) and what's up for the next year(s).

And players want to know as much as possible about it, the Q&A answers about 50% of what most players want to know, and feels like a bone thrown into a group of 30 hungry dogs.

The leaks, will continue, there have been leaks before, and there will be more.

Banning all EU supertesters created only one thing, lots of angry supertesters that were properly testing and working within the terms of the nda, and more bad puplicity for Wargaming.

Maybe they try to overcome one of the most famous russian developers by the name of Sergey Titov... ;P

So you can kinda understand why belarus is still seen by some as russian in all but name. They do have rus in their name, but you know what I mean.

The communist thing is just ripping on the soviet past, which was littered with corruption, not on the actual ideology, which was actually based on quite healthy values.

Poland was a communistic country, not soviet, and that is a difference, so please next time do homework and check sources(could be even wikipedia) before posting.
And what's the matter with ')))'? Those are some kind of retarded smileys or what?
