So, basically all EU supertesters have been fired. Regrettable, but it's the only way they could have dealt with the flood of leaks.
My thoughts? It was basically the only thing WG could have done to prevent leaks. Keep in mind that even though some of the leaks went thru me and my blog, others went thru various Russian sites and blogs, so the issue is by no means closed. Still, too bad.
Shows how communist WG is.
ReplyDeletelol for you.
DeleteHow badly will this affect your blog?
ReplyDeleteNone at all. It's not I posted leaks lately anyway, well, apart from those patchnotes :)
DeleteWell, at least we have that then :)
DeleteCongratulations SS. You played a part in that.
ReplyDeleteBlame WG you dumbass. Only they can nuke out the entire EU testers because of a very select few that actually leaked and got banned in the meanwhile.
Deleteyou dont even know if SS' leak was an EU supertester
DeleteYou don't get the point "dumbass". The problem wasn't the guys that got caught, it was everybody else, and as far as I can say, they made the right choice. And yeah, before you start mouthing, I am one of the guys that just got kicked out of supertest because of this.
DeleteAnd angrybanana, yeah, we kinda know that.
Your fault that they kicked you guys out. Why did your colleagues start leaking in the first place? Self esteem? I'm sorry you guys are gone but blaming frank for that is total dipshit.
DeleteYou should have start sucking Russian balls in order to keep the job or blowing the whistle you know.
Yes, indeed, you are right. I should have flown over to each and every one of these 100+ guys and talked to them. Really dude?
DeleteI'm not saying this is entirely his fault, because it's not by a long shot, but he had his part.
I'm not even going to comment the last bit. Grow a brain mate. And some common sense.
Why not? A 100+ blow bang to keep the job and keep leaking. ;-)
DeleteI am left speechless by your sheer intelligence.
DeleteOne step short of closing the supertest altogether which will be the next step if leaks continue at this rate.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to see if RU players and blogs take this as a warning.
Is it connected with your czech story?;]
ReplyDeleteI'm curious will they ban also Russian supertesters when leaks continue even after they banned all from EU
ReplyDeleteFirst : Give Europeans the chance to use Superteststuff -> Check
ReplyDeleteSecond : Give a warning because there are leaks -> Check
Third : Bann Europeans, because there are leaks still and tell the Community that there are too much leaks since Europeans are with the Test -> Check
Fourth : Russian community is happy -> Check
And the earlier leaks of wot-news.com was not a problem. Interesting...
ReplyDeleteThese are probably controlled leaks. IMO in most cases they get stuff directly from WG
DeleteDSM: But at the same time they had no problems publishing earlier leaks from FTR. No - this works differently. From what I was told, posting leaks is totally fine - as long as it's not an original leak post. You simply have to quote someone else and it's all right. In this case, a "small Russian blog" appeared, posted leaks, "got quoted" by wot-news.... you get the drift.
DeleteDSM: "These are probably controlled leaks. IMO in most cases they get stuff directly from WG"
Delete- Seems to be so, look at the tank design contest (or what the h*ck) promo pic: Wot-news logo+WG logo
Ok guys, just an interesting question in 1st April mood :)
"Small Russian Blog" posts leak, quotes wot-news.com
wot-news.com posts the same leak, quotes "Small Russian Blog"
What will happen?
A.) "Small Russian Blog" will be shut down, uploading players will be banned
B.) Wot-news.com will be shut down, uploading players will be banned
C.) Both sites will be shut down, ALL uploading players will be banned
D.) No one will be sanctioned
E.) Non-RU Supertesters will be banned
:D
DeleteThe free world is just too free for WarGaming.net :P
ReplyDeleteI'd suggest WarGaming.net to set up a super testing program in north korea, where the good old communism still rules and non of that free world thinking...ugh
Banning supertesters = communism. Sounds legit.
DeleteAnd what's wrog with leaks ?
ReplyDeleteThey needed a reason to not involve europeans, but gave them the chance to join in the supertest thing.
Delete" 2 fliegen mit einer klappe geschlagen"
"Die Redewendung die du suchst heißt:" To hit two birds with one stone; thats what his "2 fliegen mit einer klappe geschlagen" means.
DeleteBlah-blah... Tell this to any of game developers who trusted you to test their product after you violate their NDA... What a bull-shit... What has the communism to do with commercial property rights? You must be high, dude...And you show zero understanding of commercial rights ... Look at you Europe, I thought you're smarter than that...
DeleteIts retarded. Russians leaking all the time.. and nothing? Because they can't shutdown them.
ReplyDeleteWhat leaking? I play WoT for two years and there's was no leaks of such mas on ru server.
DeleteFrom the last email about banned people, two were russian, one was from Czech Republic. Go figure.
DeleteJust read the thread, lol its 3 pages of whining children.
ReplyDeleteWhining children who put in hours of testing, waded through loads of russian text translated by google, did not leak anything, and get fooked over because 2 russians and 1 czech leaked tons of crap....
DeleteNice attitude.
Poor kids))) Since some EU testers are not too smart to understand what NDA is they all got fired)))... BTW - if RU ST disclose anything they get banned forever... EU guys - you love your laws, don't you? Why then don't you respect other laws?
ReplyDeleteLaws?
DeleteI think just the rights, their own rights.
No one gave a fuck about ST from EU testers, because we weren't paid for it. But a gopnik like you wouldn't understand.
DeleteCant you read???
DeleteIt was 2 RU testers and 1 EU tester that leaked the shit...
All EU testers got banned...
RU? 2 testers got banned....
Proportionate?
mhh
Delete2 out of how many Ru testers? ~600(?)
1 out of how many Eu testers? ~100(?)
;)
and all the leaks before EU testers arrived?
Delete... for 2 years...
plus more leaks, since the EU were kicked?
before Eu supertest u had at max 1 leak per month after start of Eu supertest u had more then 4 leaks per week...
DeleteYep ru Supertesters are the problem and its all a big conspiracy from the communist party against u and the whole world.... *facepalm*
WG make it easy... Take and Atom bomb over an little Problem ...
ReplyDeletehttp://www.aljazeera.com/news/europe/2013/03/201333015222675305.html
ReplyDeleteGuess they're too sore about that. :)
I would be too. Fucking Fourth Reich AKA EU.
DeleteDo I have to say: Saw it coming from miles away?
ReplyDeleteBoth the leaking and the banning.
Wargaming's information policy plainly sucks.
Does anyone remember when Overlord was actively involved with WoT, and we got news about stuff that MIGHT come and when it MIGHT come?
Like the "Wargaming's plans for 2012" post on his blog in 2011?
That was enough to still our thirst for knowledge.
Players want to know what's going to happen soon (in this case patch 0.8.5 and 0.8.6), what's going to happen in the near future
(the following patches and what might come) and what's up for the next year(s).
And players want to know as much as possible about it, the Q&A answers about 50% of what most players want to know, and feels like a bone thrown into a group of 30 hungry dogs.
The leaks, will continue, there have been leaks before, and there will be more.
Banning all EU supertesters created only one thing, lots of angry supertesters that were properly testing and working within the terms of the nda, and more bad puplicity for Wargaming.
Maybe they try to overcome one of the most famous russian developers by the name of Sergey Titov... ;P
Too bad for EU ST who took their free time to help, and got terminated by WG.
ReplyDeleteBRAVO !....
Standart commie solution...
ReplyDeleteSo who gives a shit? they werent even paid anyway. Why they complain? seriously? move along folks.
ReplyDeleteI think you will find they get paid for their Time on the Supertest with in game gold.
Deletelol, what a stupid company
ReplyDeleteit's like giving a shotgun to a 9 years old.
Banning supertesters = communism. Sounds legit.)))
ReplyDeleteEU people so stupid.
For info. WG - Belarus's company. Belarus it's not Russia.
Belarus is Russia's bitch, pretty much Russia, anyway. Go squat and drink vodka, comrade.))))
DeleteRussian language more dominant than their own, used to be part of russian empire, border neighbours and was a soviet country.
DeleteSo you can kinda understand why belarus is still seen by some as russian in all but name. They do have rus in their name, but you know what I mean.
The communist thing is just ripping on the soviet past, which was littered with corruption, not on the actual ideology, which was actually based on quite healthy values.
Used to be part of russian empire, border neighbours(if Belarus = Russia) and was a soviet country - sounds like Poland
DeletePoland commie? Sound legit. )))
Belarus was part of USSR. Some Belarusians(like serb) still has communistic mind.
Delete/thread
'Used to be part of russian empire, border neighbours(if Belarus = Russia) and was a soviet country - sounds like Poland
DeletePoland commie? Sound legit. )))'
Poland was a communistic country, not soviet, and that is a difference, so please next time do homework and check sources(could be even wikipedia) before posting.
And what's the matter with ')))'? Those are some kind of retarded smileys or what?
Only Russians use )))) as smileys. Makes it easier to kill them in EVE for me, so that's pretty handy!
DeleteIn Soviet Russia, Supertesters fire you!
