People don't know the weak points, thus the high armor values become a big game breaker. IMO there just needs a better knowledge of the weak points on the tanks.
As said above, the stats are buffed by better players getting first go, but it will take more than a month for the stats to come down. Look at the Foch 155. The WR for that is only now beginning to normalise. The T54E1, T57 and high tier chinese are still effected.
Churchill GC winrate is not way under 49% only because of all good players started the grind from it. The icon of a POS tank, Churchill CG. F... it, you could stick the same gun in a Samara and win more with it.

as always most of the tier 5+ tanks are being free xp'd to by experienced players, wait a month when normal grinders reach them and it will drop.
