never a dull moment, eh? :) As some of you might have noticed, I have been permanently banned from EU forums about an hour or so ago for "discussing of unreleased content" (the banning was done by moderator Kacsa1). Well, basically for the leaks. My game account is intact.
Ah well. Doesn't matter. Just heads up - the translations will continue only here from now on.

In America if you do not like the way you are being reported you buy advertising (sponsors normally get a free ride), buy out your critics (if you own it you control it), or start your own to counteract what you do not like (Fox NEWS). I think there are only two things which will stop this blog, one is SS getting bored the other is WG hiring him. Banning is meh.

Fortunately, those rules end as soon as we get to another website. They have no juristiction here.

There are millions and millions of germans soldiers killed in france, on french soil, in 2 Wars in the last 100 years.
The Battle at the Somme alone costed over 1.000.000 lifes. Verdun over 350.000 - and the germans simply couldnt get past the french (and later in the war, franco-british) defences, they simply didnt stop resisting, no matter the price.
So, stupid comments like yours are an insult to the memory of the fallen german and french soldiers alike. Millions of germans didnt die because they were fighting incompetent against cowards; quite the opposite. Ban well deserved for you.
Your mini-rant aside, I think the universal opinion of the French military is that they are good for two things only:
Delete1) retreating
2) surrendering
Speaking of which, if anyone is interested I'm selling a genuine WW2 French rifle, never fired, dropped once.

Maybe I'm a strange one but I haven't expected this. I mean I knew this could happened but somehow I thought WG to be reasonable. I just can't think of possible way you were doing harm to WG. On the contrary actually. This blog is a sole thing that keep any sense of community, honest information and kept me attracted to this game.

Following on from other comments here, I want to add my 2 cents' worth about the Franco-Ukrainian Sov-Bloc WG and their brilliant customer service and communication skills.
I recently wrote to them to apply for the post of Historical Editor. Two weeks later I wrote again to ask if they received my first communication and again a week after that. I still haven't had a reply - not even an auto-reply. I did write them a set of instructions how to use the auto-reply feature in Outlook - still didn't help. So I looked on their 'Recruitment' page (enlist with us) to see if they had specifically said they wouldn't reply - it doesn't say that anywhere.
This sounds a bit arrogant, frankly. I have never experienced a no-reply from any job I have enquired about, ever, with two exceptions where it was clearly stated you would not hear if you were unsuccessful - but those were part of the auto-reply message, so they don't really count!

Before I get flamed for not having the skills or qualifications - moot point - I have all of the skills they asked for in both required and desired - MA in Military History, WW1 specialist with plenty of WW2 knowledge, Wargamer for 40 years (passionate, yes) worked in Game Industry 20 years, play WoT (only for 4 months, but got 5 accounts and most of them have t6 - one account for each of the nations except the French as they did not participate in WW2), I teach Game Design, speak French and can write (been published). I guess I'd just like to know if the no-reply and silence is what they do to everybody, or is it just me?
