- in the future there might be working machineguns, SerB is considering options, for example to use them for target designation. But nothing is certain (they certainly won't work as "usual" weapons, as SerB states the amount of projectiles calculated would crash the server)
- a player complained that when he is in a platoon, the platoon is very often on the bottom places of the team - Storm answers that the vehicles are balanced according to their weight and not to correspond in each team, it's not a bug
- there will be no special battles without arty, arty won't be removed from the game (SS: sorry, Garbad)
- the 1750 HESH for FV215b will stay
- tutorial fights with bots won't be for all players, only for beginners
- gold for VK2801 camo will not be refunded (SS: a player whines he wants his gold for permacamo back because the VK2801 sucks now)
- 8.3 is NOT working without problems with 310.90 Nvidia driver, 8.4 won't work with it either - it's not a WG bug, it's a driver bug, WG can't do anything about it, Storm recommends older versions (SS: Im using 306, without problems)
- (any) tank is evenly spread across its MM tiers
- the difference between MM weights of two teams can be 10 percent at the most
- all the tier 5 light tanks will be converted (to T6 and MM-wise) the way VK2801 was, both T-50-2 and Chaffee will be pushed to T6 (and nerfed) when their light branches are expanded
- German LT branch will be expanded in 8.5 (SS: T7 - Aufklärungspanzer Panther, T8 - RU251)

well that's just great, not only will my VK be nerfed, they'll my T-50-2 as well.

A be happy that they don't remove T-50-2 from teh game like thay sayd they will. and nerfing those 2 tanks was needed since 7.0 pach they are so OP that T-50-2 can go against t9s SOLO 1v1 and win. abit harder for VK but Vk is insane snipig tank so if i were u BABY , i would definetly stop crying about OP tanks geting nerfed.

ReplyDeleteSorry, but once again...it's not a driver fault...i have literally 100's of other games on my main computer ranging across a 20 year life cycle and all the ones from 1998 onwards work perfectly with my 313.96 beta drivers...FIX WHATEVER IS HAPPENING IN THE TECH TREE TO CAUSE THE CRASH, NOT TO TELL US TO DOWNGRADE, nothing they can do...who are your qa testers, morons?! jeez

DeleteMany users of 310.90 (users of another applications that WoT) had problems with 310.90 and had to use another version of driver.
If you are so sure it is WG problem then please refer any objective evidence.
Testers cant test this game on hundreds different PC configurations and with different drivers. It is disadvantage of PC against console with one configuration of HW.
I can and have offered objective evidence. I have the exact same issues and crashes whether I use 306, 309, *and* 310 series drivers. The crash issues started long before the 310 series was released.
DeleteDriver comparability issues are rookie mistakes. WG needs to own up and work with Nvidia to fix them, rather than passing the buck.

DeleteIt's not that bad, i for one much prefer the tortoise over the the fv215 183 anyway, fv is boring, drive around, shoot, wait 32 seconds while ur getting ass raped by meds...so what?? in the real game it's only going to be 3 or maybe 4 max at tier 10 matches and that would be EXTREMELY unlucky, stop with the whining, so it can 1 hit any tank in the game pretty much...1 hit...not 15...1 hit, how offen do you go 1-1 with a t10 heavy in a real game? it doesnt matter if you shoot the one tank in one, 3 other tanks are gonna shoot at u in return up to 3 times as many hits against you before you reload, ever thought about that?! its reload is 2...TWOOOOOO not 5, not 12, not 234,...2...thats 1 shot every 30 second up to maybe 1 shot every 26 seconds with some work, whats the big deal?
DeleteWith proper crew and modules it gets reduced to 26s reload time. In 26s you can receive 3500 dmg. What can you do in that time? 1200-2000? Yes, the TD will be shot from many other tanks, but think about a platoon of 3 FVs. Nobody would ever peek around the corner. Sure, the dmg won't be dealt every shot, but when other T10s bounce, it will still inflict around 500-700 dmg. More than a pen shot of others...

DeleteI noticed it on EVE as well when i installed the 310 drivers. It's fine and playable on both games but there is quite a bit of fps stuttering compared to the old driver.
That is not true as far as Mobile Nvidia chips are concerned. The 306 driver underutilizes the GPU, whereas the 310.xx driver fixed that issue. Question regarding the light tanks being bumped up a tier. Have you read any traffic on the following:
ReplyDeleteOnce the VK 1602 Leopard and T-50-2 are not branch-ending tanks, i.e. they have a successor vehicle, will their research and credit costs be adjusted to match other Tier 5 vehicles?
I ask because the M5 Stuart and Leopard grinds were _horrible_ in my experience, and I will definitely wait on starting the T-50 -> T-50-2 grind if it's going to be reduced by ~35k xp.
Related, why is the Chaffee still so expensive in xp and credits after the T21 line came out?

While there is no definite answer on that, you can guess from what happened to Leopard and VK2801 - so the answer is probably "yes". I am however really not sure how much XP does VK2801 cost in 8.4
Deleteso wait a minute. the tier 4 T-50 will lead to MT-25. that's ok. and then the MT-25 will lead to T-50-2? which will be nerfed? but WG said earlier MT-25 will have the SAME stats as T-50-2! (i think i found a pattern here... ELC case anybody?)
